"Great, I'll bring them for you on the train! Hopefully I'll see you at Kings Cross station. Tommorow I believe?" Parvati said. Padma reteruned with the school supplies list and the sisters finished their purchases. "What do you want to do now?" Padma asked her sister as they watched the others finish up.

Parvati picked up a book and stared at it. She had heard the conversation that Ginny and Hermione had. She felt bad that Ginny and Ron knew they couldn't afford those types of trips. "I suppose we shouldn't say anything about our trips to Paris and Rome?" Padma whispered to her sister. "No need to be rude though. Were not exactly rich Padma." Parvati whispered back. Parvati cleared her throught and turned to Harry. "Do you er- have the list of books that we need?" She asked.

Sunday, December 8, 2002 :: 08:11 p.m.
Ron walked beside Harry, behind the girls as they made their way into the book store. He stuffed his hand in his pocket and glanced around, then overheard Ginny and Hermione's conversation. He heard Hermione trail off and look at him, and he was pretty sure he knew why. He was a bit glad she hadn't continued to elaborate on the great trips she'd been on, ones that they'd never be able to afford, but was also semi-embarrassed that it was so obvious he was embarrassed about it... if that made any sense. He wasn't sure how to react, so he gave Hermione a bit of a faulty smile, then looked away at a book shelf.

"Oh, Lavender? I'm not exactly sure...Usualy we go shopping together but she was busy." Parvati replied simply. "Aren't you guys usualy always together?" Padma rolled her eyes. Ron nodded to Parvati and Padma. "Mum's buying our new robes, but we're here to get our new books. Luckily we don't have too many new ones to get...." Ron's face automatically flushed a light red tinge, once more embarrassed by the family's low financial status. "But uh... what are you going to the pet shop for? Don't you already have animals?"

Thursday, December 5, 2002 :: 05:17 p.m.

Once the twins had payed for the jokes, they lugged the bag out of the shop and headed down the street.

Tuesday, December 3, 2002 :: 07:50 p.m.
Ron rushed over to where he and Harry had spotted Hermione. She was conversing with Parvati and Padma Patil. Ron, shuffled his feet slightly uneasily at the sight of Padma. He remembered the uneventful yule Ball of the previous year. He was sure he had let Padma down, but didn't much care. He just hoped she'd forgotten it by now. Ron looked over his shoulder at the rest of his family who were still up the street aways. He saw the twins saunter off in a separate direction and Mrs. Weasley was giving Ginny some last minute instructions before Mr. and Mrs. Weasley went to go buy new robes. Ron saw Ginny look uneasily around the crowded surroundings, so he sighed and motioned her to join them. She had tried to strike up conversation with Harry in the car, but got too red in the face to respond audibly to any of Harry's questions.
Ron cleared his throat to get the girls attention and grinned at Hermione. "Hermione! Glad we could find you!"

Tuesday, December 3, 2002 :: 08:32 p.m.
Having spent the last three weeks with the Weasley's, Harry had learnt three things: 1) Never eat what the twins offer you, 2) Always ignore any strange noises, goings on or monster sightings and 3)...
Harry forwned, trying to remember the third thing Ron'd told him, since the Weasley's had received permission to take Harry into their home permanently. While he was releived that he wouldn't have to put up with the Dursleys anymore, he was a bit worried about having to live where the twins were doing their joke experiments. Already, he'd been regaled with a story about how Charlie'd eaten a Canary Cream when they were still in the planning stage, and had been stuck as a giant bird for a week.
"'Ey, Harry! There's Hermione! C'mon!"

Ron watched as Fred swooped down to the car with Harry and the two of them jumped in and Fred threw Harry's stuff in the trunk.
"Oy! Mum! Dad! Let's go!" Fred yelled and squished in beside them. The rest of the Weasley family ran back out of the house, Ginny and George squishing themselves into the front seat and Mrs. Weasley starting the car quickly with magic. Mr. Weasley was backing out of the Dursley's front door quickly, apologizing and dodging things that Uncle Vernon was throwing at him. Finally, he spun around, motioned for the rest of them to go and then apparated. Mrs. Weasley stepped on the gas and sped down the street.
Ron grinned wearily at Harry and the two of them turned to look at Uncle Vernon jumping up and down furiously like a great purple pumpkin.

Friday, November 29, 2002 :: 02:20 p.m.
Ron and Fred grinned at Harry through the bars. Fred set up a couple of his filibuster fireworks in between the bars. "Get your things ready!" Ron yelled to Harry. Once the fireworks went off, they wouldn't have much time before the Dursleys would be up there after them.
In a few moments, Harry had his bags and Hedwig's cage ready. The let Hedwig fly down to the car and Fred called out "Stand back, Harry!" The two red head flew a few yards back on the broom and Ron covered his ears as he watched the purple sparks dwindle the fuse down to nothing. A second of silence then a loud explosion whihc rocked the house and the bars fell apart. Fred swooped down to the ground, letting Ron jump off, then zoomed back up. "Okay, throw me your stuff!" Harry hurriedly tossed his suitcases to Fred and in turn Fred directed them toward Ron. With difficulty, Ron caught just about everything. Fred could hear yells from the other side of the house and frantic voice. Finally he flew up next to the window and motioned for Harry to hurry up and get on, meanwhile, Ron was dragging Harry's things as quickly as he could to the car.

Monday, November 25, 2002 :: 09:47 p.m.
Ron was lazily looking out the windows of the Weasley family car, when there was a sudden loud thud and a bunch of scratching from the roof. Then a little brown fluffball fell down past the window, then floated back up again. Ron went wide eyed and hurriedly rolled down the window. He shot out his hand and picked Pig out of the air.
Looking down at his strange energetic owl, Ron picked off the little piece of parchment and tossed Pig onto Ginny's lap as the bird hooted and chattered wildly, quiet pleased with himself. After reading Harry's message, Ron looked up.
"Mum, can't we go any faster?" Mrs. Weasley muttered something about muggle speed limits and please-men. Ron shrugged and just hoped they'd reach Harry's house in time.
Finally they sped up Privet Drive to find Arthur Weasley standing at the end of their driveway. Mrs, Weasley pulled in and part of the Weasley family bravely went to the door and rang the doorbell. Meanwhile, Fred and Ron ran around to Harry's window. They hopped onto Fred's old brrom and swung up. Fred banged on Harry's window through the bars to get his attention.
Downstairs, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, and George weren't greeted very kindly...

Monday, November 25, 2002 :: 10:09 p.m.
Harry sighed, staring out between the bars his uncle had reinstalled on his window after a prank sent by Draco had blown half the kitchen apart. It was the same old schpeil as always. 'You're never going back to that crackpot place!'
A blur of grey caught Harry's attention as a familiar ball of feathers shot through the bars on his window. It was Pig.
Harry jumped up to catch the small owl, raining praise on Ron's head. "Thank you, Ron, Thank you!!!" Without even opening the letter his best friend sent, Harry quickly scribbled an SOS message on a scrap of parchment and sent Pig off. "And hurry!"

Parvati walked down the stairs of her house sleepily. She stumbled to the couch where her sister Padma was sitting. "We going to Diagon Alley today?" Parvati asked through a yawn. "Yea, In about 5 minuets! its already 11:00!" Padma laughed. Parvati rolled her eyes as she became more awake, she ran upstairs and dressed.
That afternoon she headed to Diagon Alley with her sister. They split up and as Parvati entered the book shop she saw Hermione ::Oh! Thats Hermione...Harry's friend! She's lucky, always hanging out around him.:: Parvati walked over to Hermione, "Hi." She said.

Hermione was sitting at her desk in her room doing her last bit of homework before she went off to Diagon Alley to get her new books for the year. She was excited to meet Ron and hopefully Harry there tomorrow, and even get books. She'd recieved her letter from Ron early yesterday, and eagerly sent back a letter. Her and Ron had written a lot to each other, but Hermione didn't get much of a chance to speak to Harry at all, and was looking forward to seeing him. (OOC: Well, I'll get started, even though we don't have a Harry yet. Until then if your character interects with him, you can control him, but otherwise leave him up to me. In the meantime, find someone! XB)
Ron Weasley got up bright and early as a result of a loud bang rocking the house from downstairs. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. After getting up and dressing, he tried to tame his ruffled firey orange hair and then proceded to give up and make his way to breakfast.
Fred, George, and Ginny were all sitting at the table already. No doubt Percy was at the office. Ron sat down and gave the twins an irritated look. "What exactly have you two been working on?" he asked, loud enough for Mrs. Weasley to hear. George glared and Fred leaned forward.
"Oh, shush, Ronnie-kins, it's nothing much. Mum's heard the explosion, no use trying to get us in trouble. Besides..." He leaned back in his seat and smirked. "Mum thought giving you warts on every finger was a good idea." Ron just rolled his eyes, too used to the twins antics to take them seriously. Ginny giggled a bit, then Mrs. Weasley walked in.
"Ron, dear, you had to get up anyway. We're picking up Harry bright and early, so we have time to go down to Diagon Alley. You've owled Hermione about meeting us there as well, right?" She set a plate of steaming eggs and bacon down in front of him as she spoke and filled his empty glass with orange juice with a tap of her wand.
Ron nodded and yawned, then got to eating his meal. This reminder of seeing Harry and Hermione did wake him a bit more and he began to get excited. He hadn't seen them all summer and had hardly gotten any owls from Harry because of those horrible Muggles he lived with. Plus, he couldn't wait to give Harry his late birthday present. He had sent a cake on the day with a note saying he'd get his present later on. Ron bit his lip, hoping he'd like it.
Before he knew it, Ron and the rest of the Weasley's packed into the car and sped off to Harry's. It was diffibult to do, because this car wasn't bewitched like their old one, but they couldn't use Floo Powder, knowing the uproar it had caused the year before. Mr. Weasley was planning to meet them there, by apparating of course.
